Festive Christmas market at Müller DrumTecMüller DrumTec

This year's Christmas party for the employees and retirees of Müller DrumTec in Rheinfelden took place in the first snow, cool temperatures, hot mulled wine, beautiful music and an exuberant mood on the company premises - as a Christmas market with a barbecue stand and various Christmas market stalls, all of which came up with different treats.

The Christmas market was ceremoniously opened with a round of Advent carols performed by the Rheinfelden Protestant Children's Choir under the direction of church music director Rainer Marbach. The children and their earnestly and sweetly sung Christmas carols hit directly into the hearts of the present community.

In his speech, Managing Director Matthias Meier then reviewed the 2022 business year in a special way, using the image of a nut-grape chocolate. He entertainingly classified the crunchy nuts (challenges) and raisins (successes) of the past year and concluded his speech with a heartfelt thank you to the employees. To add weight to his words, nut-grape chocolates have been distributed.

Guests were able to enjoy fine food and drink at three Christmas market stalls. There was something for everyone. In addition to grilled sausages, there was spicy raclette, delicious tarte flambée, delicately scented waffles and crêpes. To warm up, there was mulled wine and non-alcoholic punch.

The mood was cheerful, again and again you could hear laughter and see happy faces. In the background: well-known Christmas music, which invited to hum along. The Christmas market wonderfully captured the mood of the season and the upcoming holidays. A very good idea, wonderfully implemented and impeccably organized.

In addition to the active employees, former employees were also invited to the Christmas Market. For the retired ones, the program started a bit earlier, with a guided tour of the company, during which Matthias Meier presented the changes of the last years.

A playful element was also incorporated: In a test installation, a 150-liter drum was filled with 80 kg of plastic granulate. The guests were now allowed to estimate how long it would take for the barrel with a NW 50 outlet to be completely emptied. It was great fun and pure excitement, also because there were attractive prizes to be won.

There are many Christmas songs. "Softly trickles the snow". The guests of the Christmas market were allowed to experience that. "Oh Tannenbaum" - they were also in the round. "Every year again" ... this could be taken as a guiding idea for future employee events in Advent after the success of the first Christmas market.
