Friendly encounters between former and active employees

Maja Champion is the patron of the Müller Group's retiree events. Twice a year, she organizes events so that former employees have the opportunity to stay in touch.

On May 5, 2022, the retirees visited Müller Packaging - as part of the jubilee program. CEO Christian Reinau invited and over forty people came. They are not so familiar with the modern names Müller Packaging, Müller Plastics, Müller DrumTec and Müller Processing. In their day, the companies were called something else, for example Leichtfass, Plastomatic or Fördertechnik. In his introductory presentation, Christian Reinau took the retirees on a journey through time, presenting the changes in the Müller Group in a comprehensible way. Before they went on a tour of the company in different groups, which also took them to the sister company Müller Processing, the retirees were shown a film about the construction of the new building, i.e. the construction of the new semi-finished parts production and logistics hall. This film was produced by Hanspeter Kehrli (Head of Technology at Müller Packaging). He has regularly captured construction stages on film. His spectacular drone shots make the film a time document worth seeing. A truly great work!

On the tour of the plant, former and active employees repeatedly met and briefly exchanged memories. The cohesion in the workforce lasts beyond retirement age. These were wonderful moments and the real highlights of this retiree event.

The meeting of the former employees was concluded at the Restaurant Seegarten in Münchenstein. Here, a fine meal was enjoyed and there was lively conversation with the table neighbors.
