At Müller AG Verpackungen, employees are valued. Especially those who have been with us for many years. They know what needs to be done, are the go-to people for questions, and have become an indispensable part of our company over the years. Thanks to their high level of independence and prudence in managing day-to-day business and driving our corporate goals forward, they are one of the factors behind Müller Packaging's success. Our long-standing employees are extremely important for ensuring that processes run smoothly in the company and for overcoming challenges.
The work in our company is demanding and requires stamina and good health. But it is not only physical resilience that is important—collegial relationships and friendly exchanges also contribute to our employees enjoying coming to work. They work hand in hand in teams and departments, with open and clear communication facilitating cooperation and ensuring smooth production processes.
Müller employs people from different countries and cultures. Despite this cultural diversity, respectful cooperation is a matter of course at the Munichstein and Reiden sites. The principle is that everyone is equal and no one takes themselves too seriously. Together, we pursue the goal of producing the best quality industrial drums in the world and continuously improving our performance – in a pleasant working environment where occupational safety is also a top priority.
A glance at the personnel statistics shows that many employees at Müller Packaging have celebrated their anniversaries over the past six years.

The statistics show that there are 76 employees. This is all the more remarkable given that these anniversary celebrants make up almost 35 percent of the workforce. Müller Packaging can therefore rely on an experienced, well-coordinated team. This means that values and customer-focused work can be upheld over decades—and, last but not least, the high manufacturing quality of Müller barrels can be guaranteed.
On behalf of these anniversary celebrants, we would now like to return to the three colleagues mentioned at the beginning, who celebrated their 25th anniversary this week.
- Jobin Poothullil started at Müller Packaging in 2000 in surface treatment, then moved to clamping ring production, and is now a valued specialist at the PUR plant. There, the painted barrel lids are sealed so that the barrels—closed with a clamping ring—are subsequently leak-proof.
- Firat Yildiz joined Müller AG Verpackung as a temporary employee, quickly proved himself in Münchenstein, and was then permanently accepted into the surface treatment team. Over time, he has developed into a specialist in our paint shop.
- Hilmi Saricicek found another way into Müller Packaging. He started out as a holiday temp at Leichtfass AG, which was independent at the time. This company manufactured fiber drums. The holiday job turned into a permanent position. The employee became a team leader. And Leichtfass AG was integrated into Müller AG Verpackungen.
We would like to congratulate all those celebrating their anniversaries and thank them for their tireless dedication, energy, and enthusiasm, which are evident every day.
