Conical open head drums have tapered sides and therefore offer the advantage that they can be stacked inside each other to save space when empty. This reduces storage and logistics costs.
The containers are ideally suited as secondary packaging for a wide range of industries for the transportation and storage of solids and, depending on the design, also for liquids.
Müller Packaging's wide range includes versions made from various types of steel, with or without an inner coating and optionally with an LDPE liner. Thanks to order-related production, there are almost no limits when it comes to the outer color.
The lids can be fitted with bung openings or gas flushing nipples for additional applications.
The drums are fitted with clamping rings with external lever locks as standard. Automatically closing jet ring solutions are also available for selected container sizes.
Depending on customer requirements, the corresponding lid units are palletized separately or packed together with the drums on a pallet.
