Helpful and engaged – across generations
Müller Group
Between 1901 and 1950, brothers Ernst and Karl Müller played a key role in the development of the tinware factory in Münchenstein (now Müller AG Verpackungen). After their death, funds that were originally intended for the expansion and maintenance of the Münchenstein site were transferred to a fund. The aim of this fund is to preserve the social and entrepreneurial commitment of the two Müller brothers in the second generation.

A lot of good for children and families who are less fortunate
Every year, various charitable organizations and projects receive donations from the Ernst and Karl Müller Fund. Stefanie Meier and Ueli C. Müller, fifth-generation descendants of the family, are responsible for allocating these donations.
Stefanie Meier: “Imagine families who are going through difficult times receiving quick and uncomplicated help through our donations. For example, support for a child with a physical disability. We provided this child with a custom-made cot and a travel cot – a gift that gives security and mobility where they are urgently needed.”
“I also think our long-standing commitment to supporting the Debra Foundation is worth mentioning,” adds Ueli C. Müller. “This organization advises and supports families with children who suffer from the rare butterfly disease.”

Other examples include donations to the Red Cross, which provides relief for families, and involvement with the professional photographers at Herzensbilder. They enable families whose everyday lives are marked by serious illness and loss to create memories. Another project benefited young people at the Laufen children's and youth home and gave them unforgettable experiences: therapeutic llama trekking at Amalama allowed them to leave their everyday lives behind for a moment, have fun, and recharge their batteries.
SPOG jumping challenge passed with flying colors
During the summer months of 2025, Müller Group employees were invited to do good by jumping. The jumping campaign initiated by the Swiss Pediatric Oncology Group (SPOG) was carried out at five employee events.
SPOG is dedicated to researching and treating cancer and blood diseases in children and adolescents. The aim is to contribute to improving the treatment and quality of life of young patients.
As a fundraising measure, SPOG has launched a national jumping event. The aim is to do as many jumps as possible with a skipping rope within a certain time and to collect money for each jump.
116 employees achieve 14,944 jumps
At five summer events, 116 dedicated employees from Müller AG Verpackungen, Müller AG Plastics, Müller DrumTec GmbH, and Müller AG Processing achieved an incredible 14,944 jumps - proof of how much heart our team has. For every jump, the Ernst and Karl Müller Fund donated CHF 0.30, resulting in an impressive CHF 4,500 being raised for the important work of SPOG.
The sporting event was not only about jumping, but also about laughing, motivating each other, and showing solidarity. Even a colleague with a foot injury did not let himself be discouraged and did pull-ups instead – another sign that we can achieve great things together because we set no limits for ourselves.

The jumping example shows that there is a great willingness within the Müller Group to do good. Through donations, jumping together, or simply by sharing our values. And this has been firmly established for generations.
Every donation we make from the Ernst and Karl Müller Fund is a sign of our solidarity and commitment: year after year, a five-figure sum goes to a wide range of projects that improve the lives of children and families. These are small and large deeds that give hope, encourage courage, and bring about real change.

Without traction. Müller DrumTec employees give their all under the hot sun above Rheinfelden.

Focused in Reiden. Employees and guests swing the ropes with concentration before enjoying a delicious summer barbecue.

Timekeeping is part of it. The challenge was conducted in accordance with the rules - with a stopwatch and counter.

Collecting jumps together. In Münchenstein, some colleagues also mastered jump collecting as a team effort.
